Finally the day is here !

I left the office as early as 2.30pm today, to prepare for the big event.

I got the door gift and namecards packed and place on the guest seats.

At 5.30pm, finally we have completed all tables.

We set off for makeup/ touch-up session !

HAHAS.

I added my fake eye lashes, as I really need those to keep my eyes looking big.

Last night I had an insomia maybe due to stress or coffee..

After that, I start to re-do my hair with much hair spray this time.

And it looks perfect.

Since I am done, I also helped my collengues with her hairdo and makeup.

At 7pm,

Guest enter, and I helped out at the reception desk.

Since I am just helping out, means i have no seat !!

AHHH !! my poor sore feet...

At 8pm,

Its dinner time.

The door is now OPEN, and all guest got in to get onto their seats.

I entered as well, as I could no longer stand.. So tiring...

The moment I placed my bag on my seat,

a man from my Aus Company speak to me.

He said "I thought JOEY is a boy. It is a boy name..."

We chatted and laugh then he said..

"Joey in Australia....also mean.."

I said "Baby kangaroon right ?"

He said "How you know..ya baby kangaroo"

And he start acting like a kangaroo, with his hands up to his chest.

LOLS.

Then I got to my seat...And everyone already seated.

I have a gueset from Sri Lanka,

He left after the first course, but he is polite enough to walk around and greet the main host, etc

I hope he is not bored.

First course - lobster with truffle mushroom crepes, and mango

very small portion.

And because it is a company dinner, I do not dare to take picture.

I am sitting beside a US guy, and my mentor.

On her right, is a dutch.

So I kinda get tease by US man ><

Cox he is so fortunate to have two pretty ladies beside him.

Me and another lady from SG.

Boss came over not long after I sat down, he said everything goes well, and said "Joey, you look sexy today". I thought I heard wrong...SEXY ?!! WTH ?

*sorry, i rather people call me cute than hot/sexy*

..only thing not perfect is mentor not having wine ?! =.=

My mentor is my real boss.. LOLS

When photographer came, he will ask us to take a picture with him,

And ask the dutch not to get jealous =.=

But the next shoot, I stick close to my mentor.

And he pulled my arm,* well just gently..

He is just kidding, as if asking me to take a picture with him instead.

When I came back, most of them went to toilet

The US man and dutch compliment my heels.

They also think it unique, futuristic.

I guess my heels are not like the normal pumps that why they noticed while Im walking down the stairs.

3rd dish - fish with asparagus

I sliced off the skin smoothly, using Baby's technique..

Hehes, luckily baby always bring me to steakhosue (jackplace,etc), so I am kinda skillful now

US man : "Wow, you can be a doctor. I mean you can be a surgeon"

LOLS.

Then I told him, if I am a surgeon I can make lots of money in Korea.

Baby should know I dislike fish skin and tomato, so I placed aside.

Afraid being rude for wasting food, I observe them..

OMG ! they also removed the fish skin and left the tomato untouch !!

YAY !! ^^

4th dish - dessert time !!!

Yippy !!

It's buffet style.. So we have to walk around.

And we took pictures with taiwan clients and vietnam.

My boss really sucks at taking picture. LOLS

Time flies.

2 hours gone, my stomach 70% are water and white wine..

LOLS.

And the whole night is talking to mentor, the two man..and the pretty girl from SG as well.

Upon saying goodbye to the dutch, i said "sayonara ~ "

He said "you indeed look like a japanese"

of course i am happy to hear that no matter what :X

At 10.30pm, almost everyone left except our bosses.

At 11pm, we took a group photo before packing.

After that we took a cab, the taxi driver keep mentioning me as pretty girl...blah blah blah.

Then half-way switch on light said "wa, you very cute hor"

When I reached home, "wa still got flower, you very cute hor"

LOLS.

Well I never see him as pervert, I can see I am like a cute daughter to him.

Zhen Zhen 真好吃！

Finally we realized our Breakfast Trip plan !

I enjoy waking up in

the

morning

(well not as early as 6am, it makes me sick.)

Having breakfast and slacking around the market place.

I love it especially during weekdays.

It reminds me of our poly days, where we skip school and went out a big breakfast !

hehes..

Yes, we did have Zhen Zhen porridge for breakfast.

Wow, first time Q-ing for this... such a long and slow Q

Luckily we had a little food while walking to maxwell market from Chinatown...

After our breakfast, baby was suppose to go for a study meeting.

Well, just as I expected someone got sick and the meeting was cancelled.

This kinda of thing really required discipline.

I cant believe his classmate just got himself drunk last night.

How selfish !

At night,

we went over to our favourite shopping mall - Vivocity

We had our dinner at Marche.

Our favourite all-time favourite restaurant.

A must-order dishes are pork knuckle and salmon rosti.

hehes..

But I hate ordering drinks here.. >.<

YAY !

Movie : Chronicle

But baby wasnt even full.

We had more popcorns in cinema. =.=!!

We watched the movie - "Chronicle"

We love the beginning.

It was excited, and funny.

But near the ending, it get so sick.

I do not like to see the boy get bad, and turn the world upside down.

We had lunch at Shibuya19 shopping mall.
Its near our hotel, and near pratunam market.
Worth to visit :)

Red Mango yogurt store,
I used to work for them at Shenton way.

Their yogurt taste the same as Singapore.
Yummy !

I would like to visit but baby wasnt interested in these..

He enjoy marine life.. E.g. Siam Ocean Park
But I think it's boring, as we have seen it in Sentosa.. :X

Dinner time at Siam.
Its like NaNa in Singapore. But the Thailand people cook better in Singapore.
LOLx.
Somehow I didnt fully enjoyed the food here.
Baby too..
Only the price attract us.
We simply prefer Singapore food :) Our Jap/Thai/Kor food taste better than in BKK.
Most of their food taste over cook, or too sweet, too spicy..
& I hate their drinks, all too sweet :x

We ordered Family feast, and two drinks.
Cost us about 600 baht.
You can also order additional rice.
But we didnt, hence family feast is just nice for us.

After dinner, we went out for a walk.

Happened to see a runway show for Thailand students to showcase their fashion designs.

Right opposite the Siam Square, is the night market.
There is more stores, if you walk further in.
This place is so big, there is so much to shop.
And I find it hard to buy any clothes.

There is way to many stuffs to choose from.

After shopping,
we purchased a cup of mango smoothies from Mango Tango, again.
And
we sat down on the bench, and watch the commercial.
Baby recognise the band, and he tell me more about them.

HardRock cafe.
I wanted to enter, but there is so many angmoh and it seems abit to complicated inside.
Making me feel so uneasy.

We took Tuk-Tuk back to the hotel.
Its our last time taking Tuk-Tuk, I guess we will miss it :D

We ask the driver to stop at the street, so we can shop at the night market.
Before heading back to the hotel.

Finally I get to see the night market below our hotel.
Previous night, when we came back they have already closed.

This uncle sell papaya salad, 35 baht
It was very spicy, we regret asking for chilli.

Banana condense milk prata, 40 baht
Taste sweet as he sprinkle sugar on it.

Bangkok Day 2

We are all ready to go !
After a long day shopping yesterday, today its time to visit their theme park/pool.

It has been a long while since we last wore couple tee. hahas
Looking cute :X

Having breakfast at our hotel , 2nd floor.
This is my favourite combination of breakfast :)

Have a hard time explaining to the cabby the place we are heading.
But when we saw this (below), we are so excited !!
This place is bigger than I thought.

This place is not as crowded as we expected.
Maybe because it's a weekday :)

And we are luckily to visit here this month, Jan.
Able to enjoy their CNY promotion.
Instead of 990, we only need to pay 550 baht to enter.

Includes all rides, and the water park.

This is the first ride we saw.
Pretty scary, but we missed it.
What a waste

We keep our belonging in the locker, and head to the theme park.
Below - I find this station interesting.
By paying 10 baht, you can use the hair dryer.
But the problem is there is no shower room in the bathroom.

We enjoyed the log rides, and the slides in the water park.

I totally have no idea what is this place about.
Not sure if it is an indoor ride or an exhibition.
It wasnt open today :(

It's 3pm, and we decided to head back to the hotel.
It was pretty hot here, and alot of walking to be done as the rides
are far apart from each other.

This globe is similar to the one in USS, but in mini size.
haha....

Feeling sad,
as we are heading out..

We were so tired, that we rest in the hotel till 6pm.
Before heading to the Chinatown.

It was far from our hotel, so some driver rejected us.

There is many shark fin & bird nest stall over here.
Many people selling the same tired, is making us sick.
It's boring.

Below is a huge piece of shark fin.
We wonder how much it cost.

Here is a plate of fried oyster baby ordered.
40 baht

We were so hungry, so we look out for more food stalls.
Most of the stalls are selling bird nest, 100 baht.
And cooked chestnut , passionfruit juice , dessert.

Finally we found a store selling seafood.
The menu is quite limited, only two pages.

We ordered fish , tom yum with milk and fried seafood dish.
It cost us around 500 baht.
Each dishes are around 120 - 180 baht.

It includes crab , sotong, prawn, etc.

After we had our dinner, it is around 9pm.
We took a cab down to Mango Tango.
Located at Siam Square Soi 5.

We are lucky to get them in time, as they close at 10pm.

The cafe is so much smaller than I thought.
But they are nice enough to get seats for us.

Each dish/smoothies cost around SGD3.
So it is not as cheap.

And I also got a mindset of franchising this outlet in SG.
Cause baby loves Mango :)

Bangkok Day 1

Yay !
We are at the Changi Airport@6.00 am

We had our breakfast@Killiney after check-in
I took Rilakkuma to Bangkok as well.
That's two earpiece given by Thai Airline.

We watched "Puss in boots" for the 2-hour of trip.

No more chicken rice,
hence we had scramble egg in the plane.
Taste horrible.

Purchasing the tickets at control station.
It is as easy as 1,2,3 . No problem with it as a newbie.
It cost around 40 baht from here to our hotel.

Here's the transport token.

Here we are, at No Problem building near our hotel.

Its only 10 am, so we left our baggage in the hotel.
And walk to Platinum Mall.

You have to get this card at the counter.

Hence you have to check the cost of your drink, food, dessert.

Can be finish in 4 mouthful. It's spicy and sour.
The noodle is soggy than those in Singapore.

After shopping, we went to the basement to take a rest.

After settling down in the hotel, we took a Tuk-Tuk down to
MBK.

We took Tuk-Tuk for the very first time to MBK from our hotel.
It cost around 100 - 150 baht.
We were hold out due to in-coming train..

Movie - The Viral Factor

We took time after our reunion dinner to meet up.

I miss baby so much , haven't seen him for nearly a week.

We met at 10.30 pm, to catch up a movie - The Viral Factor

The movie start at 12.25 am, so we slack at a cafe for some supper.

This whole week, I spent the night watching "Startling by each step"

Hence, I ordered ginger soup.

LOLS

Baby as usual ordered his favourite butter bun and iced yuan yang.

We enjoyed the movie, and there is about 10 people in the cinema ?

hahas

The movie is good,it is pretty touching.

I was amazed by Nicholas acting skills, he is good.

Really got a desperate ah beng look.

Chinese New Year Eve

These days, it been hard on me.

Stress at work, but I will take it as a good-stress.

Though, I do not have any mood for CNY this year.

I am very excited about the Thailand Trip.

No mood for other stuff.

I still have the following not done yet :

- Hotel shuttle service not yet arranged

Though I have been in charge of the trip, but some are not fixed.

Especially for shopping, I am so afraid I have too little time and money..

Hahahahs..

Right now, I need to brush up some language skills so I can get a better advangtage out of it.

Because of this trip, I also felt like 成功男人背后的 lady. Hahas.

Everything have to be done by myself, as baby is too busy with his studies.

He is currently working with a project, and have to bring his laptop for the trip

Baby came down last night to start booking our flight

YAY ! Been waiting for today, as we have been discussing about it over the week. And its really URGENT !!

We are so lucky, got the morning flight + its THAI airline :)

And I saw our plane, its pretty spacious, and clean :)

I had attached an image of the plane we will be taking !!

First time taking airplane with baby!

So exciting. Hope baby wont get sick again.

Today his tummy feeling uncomfortable, and whole night cant sleep well.

Now sleeping soundly beside me >< hehehs..

Today ,

we went for a breakfast trip.

But I was actually suffering from stomach discomfort.

I accompany baby to look for pets.

Actually I do have the urge to buy hamster or rabbit.

But Im afraid they will run away again. like my previous 2 EXPENSIVE hamsters :(

Baby bought a budgie bird.

As a beginner, we bought the most easily tame bird, nice and gentle.

I chose a baby male budgie.

Pretty scary, yet funny.

Wine Feasta @ Fullerton Bay Hotel / Custom House

Meet darling after school hours.

7pm, we went for dinner and took some time shopping.

Before cabbing down to Fullerton Bay hotel for The straits Wine Company - Wine feasta.

We, well dressed for the event :)

Beautiful, serene lobby area.

Huge balloons, to guide us to location where

wine feasta is holding at.

The event was slightly over crowded, most of them are caucasians.

Actually I would said 90% of them are.

Hahas.

We tried wine from South Africa , Spain , Germany , etc.

They actually smell about the same, and out of all we had drank.

I love only 2 of them, which have one thing in similar.

Sweet :)

Not to strong, slightly like soda :)

Movie - Contagion

** TGIF **

Finally get to understand how is feel like on TGIF :D

Baby awaiting me at NEX.

He brought me to Crystal Jade, Korea BBQ for a treat.

I love the setting, and the people there.

They are more well-manner, and the lighting are bright enough.

The food,and the plates are very clean.

And

The best part, no BBQ smell when you leave the restaurant

Many customers came here for the kimichi of course.

The dessert pretty alright, but we never like the ice-cream.

After dinner, it was 9pm.

We went up to the cinema to get ready :D

Some teenagers seemed troubled

we overheard the girl saying "so how ? we go other cinema la. Bishan la ?"

We watched Contagion.

And we think it is nice, but how come only 3 popcorns.

Anyway, it was fully booked and packed for every session.

Luckily we booked in advance, but able to get the 2nd last row.

Anyway, thanks baby for the dinner and movie !

Jurong Bird Park 2011

Last week, because of rain.

we are unable to go bird park as plan.

This week finally we can !

We are so excited about it.

Thanks to the NDP coupons, we had 30% discount !

First, we meet the little penguins.

They look so adorable.

These species of penguin can stay in the outdoor ?

At 11am, we quickly rush over to join the bird show.

Fantastic parrots ! They can speak really well.

Sing ~ ! Count~ !

At the end of the show, we went to get our fruit punch.

Those that normally sells in zoo, and USS.

Baby's favourite !

Next, it is also baby's favourite.

Well other than Eagle, its owl ~ !

They are bigger than I thought.

Inside the owl's exhibition, it is really warm.

We were warned not to use flash inside, yet other foreigner did.

And i saw the owl's eyes rolling.

The room is in pitch dark, and they camourflage really well.

Pretty tricky to spot them.

We walk and walk along to trail, till we reach a cafe cum sounveir store.

We walked in, and at the back it was the LORY's place.

Baby bought the feeding for me, so we could feed the little birds together.

We are amazed by the place they are staying.

They are so bright in colour !

Thats me feeding the little birdie.

And in fact, im shivering abit.

They are so jumpy, and sometimes they comes in group.

Im so afraid I will drop the whole bowl of food*

After lory feeding,

we went into an exhibition.

There were aircon ! YES !

And we stayed there nearly an hour b'cox of the rain.

Phew, it was a short one.

We carry on walking up the trail.

Like hiking lo ~ tiring ~ @.@

So we went in and feed the ostrich !

Baby brought me to the restaurant for buffet.

In here, we can watch the parrot show while having lunch.

After lunch, we took the tram rides around the park.

Due to rain, we missed the sparkling bird feeding time.

we walk around the park, hoping to take some pictures, when we realised its time for the eagle show.

we rushed down.

Owl is indeed a pretty creature ! :P

Then,

we intend to go back to the park, and continue our walk.

We were surprised, when we saw there is such a beautiful waterfall in the bird.

It is not what we expect.

Then, we climbed up the hill , and took a picture of this bird :D

the park closed at 6pm.

We went home, and bathed.

We had a wonderful breakfast at burger king..

I had never eaten burger king's breakfast set.

Their hashbrown is cute and crisy !

After getting lost for an hour,

we found SDC ! and rush to toilet !!

When I came out of the washroom , baby got this cute balloon flower for me !

I was soo happy !

It is both romantic and nice of him to queue and get this for me !

Despite being an adult, a man !

Its not difficult to watch 5 movies a month during dec period.

But.. april - june like onli 2-3, sometimes none ?

My First Camera

My first camera, Nikon P500.

Overall, I give it 4.5 / 5

The cons :

- I have to remove the lens cover, before switching it .

As you know, sometimes we switched on the camera is to view our pictures.

We may not be taking any picture.

- There is not seperate battery charger

Although this camera may not comes with the 360 degree LCD screen,

but i love it high resolution screen.

Though the LCD screen can be move, I doubt I will use it any sooner.

The pros :

- Able to take photo during recording.

- Able to take both HS & HD movies.

- Comes with 36x mega zoom, means tripod is a must

- Nikon added in rubber texture at the grip area. :D

- High resolution LCD screen

- Paranomic , creative filter included

- viewfinder included

Johor, here we come !

First time travelling with baby via public transport, bus 960.

its really packed since we going in the morning, around 10 am....

Hate the crowd..

Dirty and stinky people squeezing together with us.

For lunch,

we had Malaysia Kim Gary.

We are starving... we are so distracted by the shop here.

most shop here look alike..clothes almost same.

and its more expensive than bugis street.

But if you are buying clothes similar to online blogshop, its much cheaper.

Blogshop sells around $20 -$28 , here sell from $15 onwards or even cheaper.

Today having ot :(

so tiring, i even fall aslp on the way to meet baby at 8pm :X

Baby brought me to eat my favourite thai food. And i thought he was going to bring me to Thai Express. To my surprise, we went to ABSOLUTE THAI

We ordered hotplate tofu, beef and tom yum.

I love the tom yum soup (red)

Although its spicy and sour enough for me, the serving is simply too small for $9.00

I wan a bigger serving !!!

There is only mushroom and prawns.

And filled with many various spices

Thai food always come with parsley leaves :X

Even their steamboat vege consist of parsley leaves :( Total bill came out to be $45.00, kinda steep.

But we really enjoyed their ambience, service and food.

It was our first time having here, and we love it :D

Their chili sauce is special, it sweet and hot :D

We finally reached our first destination

What a beautiful place !

We are going to prawn for the next two hours.

I prepared to wait pretty long for each prawn :D

But guess what,

to my surprise, within 20 mins I caught my first prawn :DD

YAY !

At BTP,

their prawning area is really a great place.

They had great view, big pond, fans , and the uncle also gave baby a box of tissue

hahas.

That uncle so helpful :D

Biggest catch of the day.

I got the biggest prawn, the uncle seem upset and i heard him saying

"ah ya, the big prawn other ppl caught it alr."

Cos they are challenging each other,

Uncle helped us to wash, and cook the prawns.

They had lamp post too, so not that bad.

I suddenly start to have butterfly in my stomach when baby said he going to bring out my present. he asked me to get prepared.

And he took it out,

He asked me to open and i did.

After that he took the ring box, and took out the ring.

He knelt in the public, :D

He asked me for my hand :X

I was blushing :X

I knew what he going to ask next, omg omg ~!!

And he asked

"will you marry me"

I was blushing so badly, my heart beat increased.

OMG !!

I said i do, and he put on the ring.

my face was feeling so warm, and i hugged him.

we kissed.

Like never before.

It was dark, could hardly see the ring dazzle :x

i was stil so nervous, and could hardly eat anything :X

but i love the cake,

After dinner, we sat on the swing..

those 4 seater swing, and we chatted.

It nice sitting by the beach, it was so windy :D

We went down to my uncle house to celebrate.

And lastly makeup remover tissue for my oversea trip :P
